Holy cow! I haven't told you guys anything in a long time. I've been really busy and so has mommy. But we'll try to catch you up now. Plus I've got some new pictures. The most exciting thing here has been something called Halloween. A few days before mommy and daddy put paper down on the floor, took my clothes off, and let me play with slimey pumpkin guts. Let me tell you what - that was some fun stuff. I loved shaking them and watching them fly all over the kitchen. But they didn't taste too good. Then Mommy made me wear a funny costume - she said it was a giraffe, but I thought it was like jammys with a hat. We went to a place where there were a bunch of older people. Mommy said it was a nursing home. Cousin Autumn went too. We were doing trick or treating and all those older people kept telling me how cute I was. They put candy in my pumpkin bag too - but mommy says I can't have it yet. On Friday night a bunch of kids came to our house - some of them were kind of scary. I helped mommy and daddy pass candy out to them. Then on Saturday mommy and daddy dressed me up in a funny hat and robe and we went for a walk. We went downtown and I got more candy - plus I got to see a firetruck and where Aunt Angie works. Then we took cookies out to my friend Heather's house. She comes and watches me sometimes so mommy and daddy can go out. Then we went to Applebees and all the waitresses thought I was a cute ogre - but daddy said I wasn't an ogre I was a Yoda. (I don't know what that is either but I like smiling at all the people cause they were smiling at me.)

This weekend wasn't such a good weekend. Daddy had to work and mommy didn't feel too good. Then on Saturday night I didn't feel too good either. My tummy hurt and I threw up in my bed. It was SCARY. But mommy and daddy cleaned me up and I got to sleep downstairs in the pack and play cage. Mommy slept on the couch. I felt bunches better after I threw up. I wanted to play a whole bunch - so mommy let me stay up for longer then normal. I was happy everybody felt better today. We went to church today and daddy took me up to the front by the music. I really liked dancing to the music while daddy held me. Then later I got to go for a ride in my wagon. I like riding in my wagon too.

Well that's all thats been going on here. Mommy says she'll try to update again next weekend. She says Grammy and Aunt Beth in Mississippi like to see pictures. I think Uncle Ryan does too. Good Night!

We had a big day today. First we rode in the car and went to a funny place to eat with all kinds of cars. The waitress was really nice to me. But mommy wouldn't let her give me ice cream yet. It's okay though because I got to have my yogurt treats and I really like those. Then we drove in the car a little more and we were at a farm! There were all kinds of pumpkins. I got to see my friends the goats again too. These were different goats though - not my zoo buddies. But they really like me too. There were turkeys there too. I can gobble like a turkey now so I got to talk to them a little bit. Then I got to pet a donkey too. After we finished talking to the animals - we went and looked at the pumpkins. I picked out a whole bunch, but mommy and daddy said I could only have one. They took a whole bunch of pictures of me though. I smiled a lot, but then I got bored. We went for a ride in a hay wagon too. That was fun, but daddy wouldn't let me down in the hay! They said I move too fast and might fall out.... whatever.

When we got home I was tired so I took a nap. Then when I woke up I crawled upstairs to get Larry. Only mommy grabbed me on the fifth step and made me come down. I like to climb and I'm pretty fast. I think it scares mommy though. She's kind of a scaredy cat. After that daddy put up the gate and now I can't get on the stairs anymore. Party poopers!

Two days ago I turned 9 months old. I think that means I'm a big boy. Mommy doesn't think so though. She doesn't like when I try to climb on stuff. I like to try to climb the stairs, and I can get out of the tubby all by myself now too. Mommy doesn't like that either. I think she's a scaredy cat. I'm not scared of anything though.

Friday my grammy came to see me. We had a really fun weekend. We went to my favoritest place for breakfast . I like to go there because the waitresses are all my friends. My favoritest one was working too - she likes to carry me around and I get to help her pass out food and count out moneys. She's one of my girlfriends. Then we went to the park, but we didn't swing or play. Instead mommy pushed me around in my stroller and we looked at a bunch of stuff. I had to cry a bunch though at first. My tenny shoes hurt my toes and I didn't want to wear them. When I cried a bunch my mommy took them off. Crying works! While I was riding in my stroller I got a new aminal. I think it's a giraffe, but it's not drooly like the one at the zoo that ate my leaf. I got a funny hat too. It has a tail and the doggies wanted to smell it and play with it. Mommy had to put it away. Saturday night we rode in the car for a long time and then I got to sit with Josh and Heather and saw a bunch of my friends from church. But we weren't at church. Then Sunday we didn't go to church. We went to Autumn's house. She got to open up stuff and play with new toys and she got to eat something brown and gooey. She really liked that stuff but mommy said I couldn't have it till I turned one. I think that's a long time away. Autumn let me play with her new toys for a little while. Sometimes girls are okay.

I had a really fun week this week. On Wednesday I got to go to school with mommy for a little while. She came and got me early and then I went to her classroom with her. None of the big kids were there though. She said it was conferences - and I had to be a good boy while she talked to the kids mommies and daddies. I guess I was pretty good. I got to go to Mrs. P's room and she hugged and kissed me a bunch. I think she likes me. I got to see Mr. K too. He's funny. Daddy came and got me after a little while, but mommy had to stay a bunch longer. I was pretty tired when she got home. Daddy and I were taking a little nap in his chair.

On Thursday something else happened. I didn't go to Ashley's house like I always do. Instead I went to Cheri and Mike's house. Man it was fun there. They have two doggies in the house and big one and a little one. I really liked the big kids taking care of me.... especially Lexi. I got to see cows while I was there and I got to go for a ride on a lawnmower. Daddy says mommy is mean cause we don't have a lawn mower to ride on. He has to push his.

It's been a long time

Wow! I haven't written anything in a really long time. I've been pretty busy. I'll try to tell you all about everything I've been up to - at least the big things!

I have to teefers now! They're both on the bottom. Mommy really wants to take a picture - but there my teefers and I don't want to show anyone. I like to bite my hand now and sometimes I like to try to bite mommy's nose!

I can walk now.... well okay not all by myself - but if I have something to push I can go pretty fast. We went to mommy's friend Debbi's house on Friday a couple weeks ago and I pushed a chair all over her kitchen. I was trying to catch her dog Shelby - but Shelby didn't want me to catch her. I also pushed the train Mary got for her birthday. I pushed it all over grandma's yard - until Mary wanted to ride on it. Now I have a hippo to push at my house. I like to push it from the living room to the den, but it makes me MAD when I can't go any farther. Then I have to sit down on the floor and scream - screaming makes mommy and daddy come turn it for me.

I'm super fast now. I can crawl so fast I can catch Larry. I also like to crawl for the back door as soon as anybody opens it. Sometimes I make it out to the deck before the catch me. Someday I'm going to make it to the grass. Just wait and see.

Last Monday I started swimming class. I think I like that class. Mommy and me get in the big blue water with a bunch of other babies. Then we get to move all around the water. I rode on something called a noodle like it was a horsey. Then I got to chase duckies. I love to catch duckies. It made me SUPER mad when the teacher put the duckies away. I wish they could come to my house. There were bunches of duckies. I would like to put them all in my bath tub. Oh yeah! I know how to get out of the bathtub now all by myself. You just have to stand up and push with your feet and stretch your arms and lean your head over the side and you can just slide out over the edge. It's super easy if you're a slippery monkey like me.

Last night me and mommy and daddy watched tv outside on a great big screen! That was pretty cool. There were bunches of other people and cars there too. Then I had a bobble and fell asleep. When I woke up I was still in the car but mommy was getting ready to take me out. I think I like watching tv outside.

Today was a big day too. Today we went to a picnic for daddy's work and I had to see a whole bunches of people. Then mommy let me eat some of her applesauce and macaroni. (I like my macaroni better - you don't have to chew it!) She let me try some of her snow cone too. I like the ice on my gummies. Maybe I'm getting more teef. Then tonight my friend Heather came over to my house and played with me while mommy and daddy went somewhere. I like playing with Heather.

Today I am 8 months old! That makes Mommy a little sad. She says that means I am 2/3 of a year - whatever that means. I've been growing and changing a whole bunch since my last post. I have two teeth now - both on bottom. Mommy wants to take a picture... but I don't like letting anyone look in my mouth.

I'm crawling really good now. I can get into stuff super fast. I got to play in Pip's waterbowl this week, eat some dirt, and try to eat some glass. All before mommy could catch me. I think the glass made her the most upset. I didn't like it much either - it hurt my mouth. I'm okay now though! I really like to eat paper and chase the vacuum. I think that's funny.

I've been going to the babysitter's house every day during the week. She has a little girl my age. I don't like her much though b/c she tries to get me. I do like watching the big boys play though. They're 3 and 4 and there's two of them. I also like it when we get to go outside and play on the swings. I love to swing.

Today mommy and Aunt Angie and I went for a LONG ride in the car. We went to a BIG sale and I got all kinds of clothes.... but the best part was I got toys and books. I like to eat books. Tomorrow I get to play with Autumn again while our mommies work on our books. Well that's all I've been up to. I'm a pretty busy little boy!

Changes

Hi everybody! I've been really busy lately. My Grammy and my Uncle Ryan came to see me this weekend. Grammy watched me on Friday night while mommy and daddy drove a big truck to go get a new mattress. When they got home Uncle Ryan was with them. He and daddy had to push the mattress upstairs. It didn't want to go! When it was upstairs on mommy and daddy's bed I got to jump on it. I left little feet prints in the foam. It was funny!

Saturday Uncle Ryan watched me while Grammy and mommy went grocery shopping. He likes to play with my toys and me. We wrestled with my frog and when I got sleepy he took me out to the porch to swing. When I woke up mommy and Grammy were home.

Sunday was REALLY hot here!! Mommy got out my splash pad and I played on it for a little while after church. Then daddy came home and he had a little swimming pool just for me! I liked playing in my pool. It was like being in the bathtub. When we went inside and dried off, I helped daddy play his bass guitar. I like grabbing the strings and making them make noise!

Monday my cousin Autumn came over to play with me. We played in my pool and in my new play room. She brought turtles over with her to play in my pool. I liked those turtles. But I liked throwing grass in my pool even better. I even stuck some grass in my mouth! Mommy doesn't like when I eat grass or dirt. She makes me spit it out!

Today something new happened. Mommy woke me up early and after I had my cereal she took me to a new house. Then mommy left me there and went somewhere for awhile. I think I like it there. There's a little girl named Lily there and she's my size. Her mommy was really nice to me and took good care of me. She even took us outside and let us swing. Lily has neat toys to play with too. When mommy came to get me, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go home. I was busy playing. Mommy says I get to go back tomorrow though. I went to the doctor today too. He looked inside my ears, but he says that they're just a little red and he thinks they'll get better on their own. No more medicine for me right now. Mommy's glad, but I kind of liked that pink stuff.

Zoo Day

Hi everybody! Yesterday was a BIG day for me and mommy and daddy. Daddy took the day off work and we went to the city. We went to the zoo! This was my second trip to the zoo and I liked it even better this time. Mommy carried me in my sling the whole time so I could see the animals a whole bunch better. We went to the new part of the zoo where all the African animals are first. I liked watching the baby swamp monkey - he was really fast and he made me laugh a bunch. I liked the lion too - he was like a great big kitty cat. I wanted to pet him but there was glass in the way. He laid down right by the window where we were watching. I also liked feeding the giraffe. Mommy paid two tokens so I got to do it two times. The zookeeper handed us a handful of lettuce - I thought I was going to get to eat it - but then a big black tongue came and took it right out of my hand. My hand was all slobbery and I didn't like that part! Mommy and I even rode the merry go round. It went pretty fast - but I didn't cry at all. Daddy took pictures while we went around in circles. I tried to smile for him but I couldn't see him sometimes. Before we left we stopped to see my goats again. I really like those guys. They make me laugh and their fur is all scratchy. In the farm there was a bunny with really long ears this time. Daddy helped me pet him, but he wouldn't let me pull his ears.

I was really tired when we left. On the way home I slept until we got the Dr.'s office. When we were there I had to get my 6 month shots. I don't like getting shots. I screamed when the nurses held me down. But daddy said I was a big, brave boy because I stopped crying as soon as the nurses let go of me. I hope I don't have to get anymore shots for a long time!

Today mommy says we are going to go to lunch with her friend Cathy. I like her because we got to go swimming at her house earlier.

My New Blog

Hi everybody! This is my new blog where I can post pictures and tell you what I'm up to. Mommy says she's going to help me post on here once a week. That way even if you live far away from me, you can see me grow.

I'm growing pretty fast now. At my 6 month check up I was 15lbs and 1 oz and 26.5 inches long. I'm trying to catch up with my cousins Mary and Autumn. They're three months older than me... but I want to do all the things they do. I'm crawling really fast now. Daddy says I'm quicker than a hiccup! One time I even crawled out to the deck cause mommy left the door open. I can also pull myself up already. Mommy bought me a special table this week so I can stand and play at it. It plays music and lights up. There's all kinds of fun things I can do while I stand there. Today mommy caught me trying to cruise around the table already. She told me to quit because she says I'm too little. Guess I showed her!

This was a really fun week for me. Mommy and I were busy, busy, busy. On Monday we went to Anderson and went shopping with mommy's friend Karen. I really liked watching her big kids and talking to Jorja while we were riding in the car. Then on Tuesday Grandma Gruell, Aunt Carrie, and Mary came up to see me. We went shopping again. Yuck! We also went up to Uncle Ryan's school and visited him. I like Uncle Ryan - he makes me and Mary laugh. Then everybody stayed the night at my house, so I got to play with Mary again on Wednesday. On Thursday Aunt Angie and Autumn came over. Mommy and Aunt Angie were getting ready for a garage sale. Autumn and I had fun crawling around the garage and getting all dirty. On Friday Autumn and I got to play in the garage again. I ate some blue paper while we were playing out there and made my tongue blue. Aunt Angie made me spit it out though. On Saturday I got to play with Autumn some more. Saturday night Heather came to my house and stayed with me while mommy and daddy went on a date. I like Heather. She played with me and gave me a bottle and put me to bed. Today we went to church. I like going there because I have a lot of friends there who talk to me and hold me. Then when we got home Grandma and Grandpa from Michigan came to see me and they brought my cousin Ana with them. Ana and I played a whole bunch and now I'm pretty tired.

Tomorrow mommy and daddy say we're going to be busy. Daddy took the day off and we're going to go see Dr. Bopp and go to the zoo. Mommy says we have to stop at Dr. Schweiterman's office too. I don't think I like going there. Sometimes they give me shots - and mommy says I have to get my 6 month shots because I was sick when I was supposed to. I just hope we get to see the goats at the zoo and the bunny. They were my favorite. Daddy says we're going to see lions and giraffes this time too. I don't know if I'm going to like that.

Well my tummy is grumbly and mommy is going to make me a bottle. Then I think I get to go to bed. Mommy says she'll post some pictures for everybody later this week. Night night everybody!
